Athena answered the question before Tafari could speak. "He is a Pegasus, a winged horse creature from Greek Mythology. Haven't you ever seen the Disney movie Hercules?"
Tafari snorted, "That was a horrible movie. Totally inaccurate."

"I don't believe in Fairytales" Savannah stated firmly, "asking me to believe in some flying horse standing right in front of me is one thing, but believing in a ton of old stories which constantly contradict each other is ridiculous. And relying on Disney, of all things, for accurate information is even worse."

Ever grinned, "I dont believe in MOST fairytales...some are too real to ignore, though." She laughed, "I'm kinda a myth hunter..."

Tafari nodded. "Well, I am Tafari, a real white Pegasus."

She grinned, "That's pretty cool! I've never seen a pegasus before! dragons and seamonsters, sure, even werewolves, but never a pegasus!" She extended her arm towards him, "I'm Never, but call me Ever."

Tafari blinked, wondering how he was supposed to shake a hand. "Hello Ever."
Athena smiled slightly and introduced herself as well. "I'm Athena."

Most of Savannah's anger disappated as the conversation turned to conversational niceities. Conversation she could handle; it stopped the growing feeling that her safe and conventional world was crumbling around her.
Conversation was safe, although the topic that they were conversing about was unsettling. If it was anywhere else, with anyone else, she would have dismissed it as talking about a TV show, or a game of some sort, or they were just making it up. But the large talking pegasus was a blinding neon sign that the world was not the way she had thought it was. To continue to insist that creatures like that did not exist would be stubborn and foolhearty.
So, for the moment, she listened to what the other three, who seemed much more accustomed to these sorts of things, were saying, trying to figure out the order of this new world she had been thrust into.
((I'm assuming that we're going with Fantasy parralel World - the real and the fantasy coexist side by side, but most normal humans are unaware of the fantasy creatures around them))

Ever walked toward him, "can i...pet you?" she blushed, "it's kinda something I do...y'know..to make sure what I'm seeing is really there and all...."
