please note: this is my contribution to trying to keep this place active. Feel free to join in whenever you like but I am moderating as well as participating in this board and if there is a problem I have no problem with asking you to leave and deleting any inappropriate posts along with asking you to slightly alter your character to maintain fairness throughout the roleplay. If you have any problems with what is written here please do not engage in this roleplay.
Rules:
- Try to be as literate as possible.
- maxiumum of four major characters; at least one of your characters must be a human, the others you can make whatever you like. A small character like your human's cat or dog or something (like a parrot!) holds the option to count as a minor character. There really is no fine line on what is a minor character is but as long as you don't abuse this option you can have a minor character or two. A minor character can be a normal friend who doesn't know about anything but sometimes pops into the roleplay. If one of your major characters IS an animal, it can only have one minor power but will automatically have the option to be able to be understood by humans or be able to speak human or something along those lines (this talking thing does not count as the minor power)
- maximum of two powers - one can be a weak power and the other can be the ability to change into a certain animal that is determined in the character's form. Your character cannot have two weak powers but it is possible for it to be able to change into a second animal instead of having a weak power. However, your character cannot have one strong power.
- Be realistic! No making your character crazy so it can do whatever you want it to. No one goes around doing things without just cause. Your character can have personality flaws but it must be consistent and work with how the character is.
- This isn't a rule but I personally think it would be really cool if the person's personality kind of mirrored the animal it can turn into. For instance, someone who could become a wolf or dog would be loyal and more likely to travel with a group and follow what others think. A person who could turn into a cat/tiger/lion would be quieter and more secretive, very sly but also inteligent. Someone who could turn into a parrot/bird would be agile but, well, bird-brained and sometimes a little out of it or not focusing on the right thing (I would have too much fun with that xP). A predator type of animal, like a lion/tiger/eagle/falcon would be focused and have a more bold personality. Someone who could turn into a dragon (perfectly okay in this roleplay, just don't become a unicorn...seriously.) would be strong (physically and emotionally) and wise. Get the point? I dunno, I think it would be cool...
- Oh! You didn't think we would just be sitting around roleplaying these people did you? No, we always need bad guys. Duh! There always must be a villain. So, you may wonder, who the villains are. They are the people who can become Pegasuses (as in, more than one Pegasus). They will not appear until the roleplay gets going a little but the main point is that you can have a maximum of two evil Pegasuses (which are black, by the way) and the Pegasuses MUST be evil. This means they do not have any more good, so no having them turn to the good side or whatever - that's lame. Your evil people can have one weak power as well, though, to make them unique within the evil people. (Sorry this is so long, I kinda don't want to just let the roleplay loose...)
- When the roleplay first starts out, no one can have their character know they can transform into another animal. The weak power the character can know about, but remember - it's WEAK so most of the weak powers should be able to blend in and not be able to be noticed (with exception, always).
- As a general rule, anyone who can do anything out of the ordinary is not about to go tell any random normal people.
- No character can be someone who can become a Pegasus (obviously excluding the evil Pegasuses), unicorn, or liger (because ligers are just weird). As of right now any other animal is open and you cannot call only your character being able to become a certain animal. It's not fair.
- I have the power to add any rules (or forbidden animals) at any time if I see something that should not be happening.
Sorry that was so long, but it was kind of important for me to type that out to explain everything so I'm sorry if it was an inconvenience for you to read it but if you didn't/don't read it don't roleplay. Because those rules are important. Sorry.
